A smaller indoor venue located in Germantown, Brooklyn Bowl, is a lively spot with something for everyone. They offer many different shows throughout the week and bowling lanes to rent as well! It’s a great date night spot before-or-after dinner in the city.

Ascend Amphitheater

The outdoor venue Ascend Amphitheater is at the end of Broadway after the Honky Tonks before you reach the Cumberland River. This venue is great for summer concerts downtown. Purchase your tickets ahead of time though as they sell quickly and bring your lawn chair or blanket for the grassy general admission.

Soak in the views of Downtown Nashville and the Cumberland River atop the  rooftop. There are many food options available and large TVs for watching sporting events in their multi-level venue that also has live music almost every night.

Tootsies Orchid Lounge

A Broadway staple and one of the oldest honky tonks downtown is Tootsies Orchid Lounge. Enjoy three stories of live bands and bars with great food and dancing.

Rolf & Daughters

Rolf and Daughter's is one of Nashville's best restaurants. Shareable, seasonal, pasta dishes are the trademark of Philip Krajeck's Germantown staple. He creates seasonal dishes. Take a seat at a wooden communal table; exposed piping and red brick walls gives the space a reclaimed industrial look that’s a pleasant reminder of its boiler building past. Krajeck’s menu is inspired by product availability. It’s “farm to table” at its best.

Bourbon Steak

Bourbon Steak is one of the best rooftop restaurants in Nashville with stunning views of the whole city. The drink menu features a ‘Zero Degree’ section with curated mocktails for you to enjoy.

Prince’s Hot Chicken

A true Nashville original, hot chicken was born more than 70 years ago at Prince’s Hot Chicken Shack. Legend has it Thornton Prince, founder of Prince’s Hot Chicken Shack, was quite the womanizer back in the 1940s. His girlfriend decided to teach him a lesson by serving him fried chicken seasoned with hot pepper spices as revenge! Prince liked the dish so much he started the 1st hot chicken restaurant ever in Nashville. Their Hot Chicken is legendary. Don’t miss it.

Warner Parks offers many miles of trails ranging from hiking to walking paths. Located right outside the city, Percy Warner Parks is a great option to get some exercise and fresh air.

Cheekwood Estate & Gardens

Sprawling 1930s estate with an art museum & picturesque botanical gardens, plus a cafe & gift shop. From beautiful botanicals to their historic estate, there's something for everyone at Cheekwood! They have beautiful art installation exhibits as well. Check their website to see what’s going on when you visit. It’s open everyday except Monday.

Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum

They don’t call it Music City for nothing! Spend your afternoon browsing the many exhibits displayed at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. From historic figures to current stars, there are many things to see if you love music! Tickets can be purchased online.

Frist Art Museum

The Frist Art Museum is a nonprofit art center that showcases top-notch exhibitions, creates educational programs, and engages with the community. Located right in the heart of Downtown Nashville, admission is free for guests 18 and younger and $15 for adults.

Nashville Sounds Baseball Game

Milwaukee Brewer’s Triple-A affiliate team the Nashville Sounds is located in Germantown just minutes from downtown Nashville. Purchase same-day tickets at the walk-up counter and enjoy the game and ballpark concessions from the grassy outfield during the summer.

Listening Room

Grab dinner and a show at the Listening Room. Indulge in live music from up-and-coming local artists while enjoying some good food. Stop in for brunch, lunch, dinner, or late night. Open Monday to Saturday, tickets are sold in advance online.

Arrington Vineyards

Arrington Vineyards is a great day trip for larger groups just outside the city. Bring a picnic and some blankets to sit out and enjoy the lovely southern weather. Arrington sells charcuterie boards on the grounds, or bring your own!
